As part of our work, we make sure our platform is compatible with assistive technologies that include:

  • Operating system magnification
  • Voice control
  • Screen readers
  • Alternative input devices

Measures to Support Accessibility

We've taken these steps to ensure the accessibility of the DonorDrive platform:

  • Designated VP of Design & UX, Matt Radel, as executive champion for accessibility
  • Conducted staff accessibility trainings
  • Audited DonorDrive for WCAG 2.1 level AA compliance
  • Used a third-party platform to test the accessibility of crucial tasks
  • Integrated accessibility improvements into our product roadmap and are continually releasing updates

Note: DonorDrive client sites are separate from Our accessibility audits have focused on public-facing client sites, though the processes we've put in place benefit both the administrative and public interfaces of the DonorDrive platform.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: level A, level AA, and level AAA.

The public-facing interface of DonorDrive client sites are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Our compliance with these guidelines can vary to some degree from client site to client site, depending on each client's commitment to honoring these guidelines for the content they control within the product. These guidelines are subjective and up to human interpretation. We keep accessibility top of mind as we continue to enhance the DonorDrive platform. We strive toward complying with as many of these guidelines as possible. We cannot guarantee that we will always meet 100% of the guidelines.
